Why Camelot?

My first agency placement was covering the reception desk here in the Camelot head office. I was originally booked in for a period of 6 weeks and have happily continued in this role ever since!

Making a very good first impression is the most important part of the job. We're here to make all employees, guests and visitors feel welcome.

What skills help you succeed in this role?

A positive disposition, a genuine interest in people, along with patience, tenacity, a friendly smile and sense of fun!

What’s the most exciting thing about working at Camelot?

I love the buzz and the excitement that is generated prior to rollovers and other key moments for the business. I also love our Sports & Social organised theatre trips.

What makes your proud to work for Camelot?

Raising money for good causes while giving players an amazing opportunity to change their lives.

If you didn’t work at Camelot, what would be your dream job?

Volunteering at The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts (PQA). My grandson attends PQA and I have loved watching the confidence he has gained from performing - it is inspiring. The teachers are so talented and they share so much of themselves with the children.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Mostly socialising with family & friends. I also enjoy theatre trips and travelling and I like to keep fit by walking and swimming!
